A WordPress plan that actually gets used.

Updates tested on staging first, backups that get restored to prove they work, and a monthly report you can actually read. Three tiers, from a brochure site to a busy store.

Most sites get updated until they break, then ignored.

The usual pattern goes like this: someone clicks update, something breaks, and updates only happen afterwards when there’s time to deal with the fallout. Weeks pass, plugins fall behind, and eventually one of them has a known vulnerability, turning the site everyone forgot about into the one that gets compromised.

A maintenance plan isn’t just “we’ll click update for you”. It means testing changes on a separate environment first, maintaining backups that genuinely work when called on, and having someone notice a problem before your customers experience it.

If your site is already broken or showing signs of trouble, our support and rescue service is the faster starting point. Come back here once things are stable again.

What a plan covers, in detail.

Updates on staging first

Core, theme and plugin updates tested on an identical copy of your site before they are applied to the live one.

Backups with tested restores

Regular backups that we actually restore periodically, so you’re not finding out they’re broken on the day you need one.

Uptime and security monitoring

Your site is watched continuously, with alerts raised the moment something looks wrong rather than at the next scheduled check.

Monthly report in plain English

What was updated, what was fixed, and anything worth knowing about. No jargon, no filler.

Included hours for changes

Small edits, content updates and minor fixes covered by your plan’s monthly hours.

Priority support

Grow and Scale clients get faster response times and move to the front of the queue ahead of general enquiries.

Three plans, priced plainly.

Getting onto a plan.

Quick site review

We check your current WordPress version, plugins and hosting so we know exactly what we’re taking on.

Pick a plan

Care, Grow or Scale, based on how often your site changes and how much traffic it carries.

Onboarding

We set up staging, connect monitoring and run a first backup, usually within a few days.

Ongoing care

Updates, monitoring and your monthly report, running quietly in the background without needing your attention.

Why people stick with the plan.

You retain ownership of the code and content the whole way through. There’s no proprietary system locking you in, and if you ever decide to leave, you can, with 30 days’ notice and nothing held back.

  • Update testing and log review are AI-assisted, which is how weekly updates and real testing fit inside a monthly fee.
  • The same people every month. No account layers, and no handoff between whoever answered the email and whoever does the work.
  • Plans for sites we didn’t build are common, not an exception. We’re used to taking over from a previous agency or freelancer.
  • If a site needs hardening beyond what a plan covers, our WordPress security service picks up where this leaves off.
What’s actually included?

Updates, backups, uptime and security monitoring, a monthly report and some hours for changes, all listed on each plan above. The exact hours and response time scale up from Care to Grow to Scale.

Do you take on sites you didn’t build?

Yes. Most of our maintenance clients came to us with an existing site. We start with a quick review so we know what we’re maintaining, then bring it onto a plan. If it needs real repair work first, see support and rescue.

How fast do you respond?

Care gets a reply within one business day. Grow and Scale get priority support, same business day where possible. Genuine emergencies, like a hacked site, jump the queue regardless of plan.

What happens to unused hours?

Included hours don’t roll over month to month. They’re there so small changes and fixes don’t need a separate quote every time, not as a balance to bank.

Can I cancel?

Yes, with 30 days’ notice. You keep your code and content either way. There’s no lock-in contract and no exit fee.

What’s the difference between the plans?

Care suits a brochure site that mostly needs to stay updated and online. Grow adds a staging environment, additional hours and same-day support for sites that change frequently. Scale is built for WooCommerce and high-traffic sites that can’t tolerate downtime, with hourly backups and round-the-clock alerts.

What’s not included?

New design work, large feature builds and anything beyond the monthly hours are quoted separately, either at an agreed hourly rate or as a fixed price for a defined piece of work. We’ll always tell you before something falls outside the plan.

Do I need hosting from you too?

No. Maintenance plans work on most hosts. If your current hosting is part of the problem, we’ll say so, and you can see our own option on WordPress hosting.
